Welcome to Paper's Better

Paper products that carry the Paper’s Better seal are more responsible choices for the environment versus other materials such as plastic. Here’s why:

Reforested

Kraft paper bags with the Paper’s Better logo are manufactured using either recycled paper stock or paper that comes from managed tree plantations that are continually reforested. Said paper stock does not deplete dwindling old-growth forest land that is extremely valuable in the global battle against greenhouse gas emissions and climate change.

Reusable

Paper’s Better carry bags are made from high strength paper and are tested to carry up to 15 kilos. They’re so tough that they’ve been called bags of steel. Two people pulling from either end would be hard-pressed to tear them apart. Because of their durability consumers can use them over and over before throwing them away, reducing their impact to landfills and the environment in general.

Recyclable

Paper’s Better kraft paper products are 100% biodegradable and recyclable. So when they do eventually reach the end of their useful life they can be chucked either in your normal curbside recycling bin or your general rubbish bin. Either way, the effect on the environment is minimized. Although many plastics can be recycled, this is dependent on the limited availability of plastic recycling facilities. Paper’s Better products are more universally accepted because of the higher number of paper recycling facilities across the globe.

Hand-made

Paper’s Better carry bags are manufactured mostly in China, where hundreds of workers painstakingly cut, fold, and paste each bag. Combined with strict quality-control measures, this ensures a stronger construction versus machine-made bags. This process provides gainful employment to more workers than machine-made processes.
